Dear Kathleen,

Thank you very much for giving up your time to be a part of the work related learning day we ran at St Paul’s Catholic School last Wednesday 10th July 2013.  The event was a great success with approximately 280 students and 72 guests from the world of work participating in a day of fun filled learning.  A news story can be found at the following link – News Story

Nicola Parkins and Paul Winter, senior staff at St Paul’s Catholic School were both extremely pleased with how the event ran and both have asked for their thanks to be passed on to you.  The School appreciates the time you have given to support their students.  This day is really beneficial in helping them to build their work related learning skills and in preparing them for their work experience placements taking place in January 2014.

We also had some wonderful feedback from the students who really enjoyed the day.   All students stated on their evaluation forms that they had enjoyed meeting and talking to a wide range of guests from various sectors and backgrounds in the Career Workout! sessions and also taking part in the team work, self management and problem solving workshops led by volunteers from the world of work.

If would like to provide any further feedback from the day then please feel free to email or call me on the contact numbers below.

Thank you once again for giving up your time.  We really do appreciate it and the success of the day is down to you and your support.  I hope you found it to be a worthwhile experience.

Many thanks,

Bhupinder Roda, Events Co-ordinator

Just wanted to a massive thank you to you for volunteering at Ousedale in this sweltering heat to help deliver Sell for Success.  I had a chat with Debbie Barker and also with Nicola Wheatland (Assistant Head) afterwards and they have had astoundingly postiive feedback from the staff and students from both sites and said ‘best advisers ever’ and already talking about booking again for next year!

It was a logistics challenge at Newport Pagnell, not helped by the building works but you were a great team work to help it run smoothly and I am very grateful to you for that.  It is always so rewarding to see the students work out what they have to do and then develop into a cohesive team by the end of the day.

Enjoy the summer whilst it lasts and I hope you too have postive thoughts about today – and might even do it again!

Many thanks
